Remembering Pulse Nightclub Shooting 5 years later
Today marks five years since 49 lives were lost in the Pulse nightclub shooting — the single deadliest attack against the LGBTQ community in our country’s history.
Our kindness campaign "Hugs Over Hate" was started after the Pulse shooting in 2016. The "Hugs over Hate" logo was created by designer, Brittany Whiteman. Brittany was inspired to spread a message of love and unity through the image. In a world filled with hatred, violence and despair it is important to remember love is out there and if we stand together we can make the world more hopeful and united.
Since 2016 we have donated over $50,000 to charities embracing kindness and unity and have spread messages of hope.
