KCs Restaurant a year of charities

The Hugs over Hate campaign was started at KC's Restaurant in Guilford, CT.  It was created in the memory of the owner's sister, Kaitlin Carney, who passed away in 2007 after loosing her battle with addiction.  Kaitlin was kind, sincere, and always there for people.  It is Hugs Over Hate's mission to celebrate Kaitlin's kindness and caring heart by giving back to organizations that promote love, understanding, unity, and spread kindness throughout communities.  

KC's is celebrating its 10 year anniversary by honoring the community and giving back.  A local charity has been chosen each month.  On a charities given month, KC's, promotes the organization across social media and chooses one day in which the restaurant donates 20% of its sales for the day.
